We’ve helped evolve their visual identity, brought clarity to their sustainability reporting, shaped their presence at key events and exhibitions, and delivered standout campaigns for their EV rollout, all while keeping the brand confident, consistent and grounded in its purpose.
As part of our ongoing partnership with ESP Utilities Group, we were asked to help promote their EV proposition to a retail audience, with a campaign that needed to feel bold, distinctive and commercially smart
ESP wanted to promote its EV proposition to the retail market – particularly major supermarkets – while also targeting the wider distribution network. The brief called for a campaign spanning media advertising in The Grocer, targeted LinkedIn ads and PR activity. Following a workshop session to fully understand the opportunity, we researched how advertising in the retail space currently appears. From there we developed a series of creative ‘adcepts’ that injected humour and personality into an otherwise functional category. Clever headlines paired with retouched imagery to deliver impact, cut-through, and a refreshing tone that stood out. The campaign championed the value of offering onsite EV charging – attracting new customers, strengthening green credentials, and driving business growth. By taking a witty, design-led approach, we positioned ESP as the go-to partner for accelerating the rollout of EV charging solutions and infrastructure.
Bringing clarity and character to ESP’s event presence, turning functional spaces into brand-building moments
For ESP Utilities, events and conferences are central to their business growth, giving opportunities to connect, influence, and grow their network. To succeed, their brand presence needs to be instantly recognisable, memorable, and aligned with their sustainability-first values. We reimagined their event presence with a series of modular banners and a standout exhibition stand. By blending carefully selected stock with site photography, we created bold, distinctive imagery that avoids the clichés of the sector, while still telling ESP’s story. Each piece works alone or as part of a cohesive set, ensuring consistency across their full range of utility services. The result is an adaptable, high-impact presence that turns in-person opportunities into brand-building moments.

ESP Utilities place sustainability at the heart of their business. With a commitment to developing and implementing a robust Sustainability Strategy, they needed a report that would capture their ambition and translate it seamlessly across multiple channels. We evolved their visual identity – squaring off the brand device for a bolder, more confident presence, introducing bold colour blocks, and pairing them with impactful imagery – to create a brochure that’s clear, engaging, and built for repurposing. The design balanced clarity with pace, making the content easy to navigate. Key statistics were lifted from the report and redeployed across social and wider communications, giving the story reach and longevity. The brochure has become a pivotal marker in the brand’s evolution, setting the visual and tonal benchmark for what comes next.
